Now in its 6th year,
Englewood will once again transform Dearborn Street into an oversized canvas!

This will be a wonderful opportunity to encourage kids, families and big kids, (aka adults) to a celebration of creative interaction. 

Music will fill the air and Art Stations will be set up for more hands on experience. Bring your chalk, some will be available from donations, no oils please.

ChalkFest 6.0 is a free event hosted by the Englewood Art Center Ringling College of Art + Design and the Pioneer Days Committee.

Dearborn Street closes for the safety of our Artists.

Registration is at 8am and chalking will start at 9am.

This year Ringling College of Art and Design is bringing world renowned Artist JOHAN BJURMAN to Englewood.

He is classically trained in Trompe L'oeil and large scale murals along with several other styles of exquisite work. We are honored he will be chalking a 3D piece to our theme in front of ReHab on Dearborn during the event.  It's an incredible opportunity for the participants as well as visitors to watch him and all of the artist create chalk art in Englewood. 

Open to artists of all ages, come on down to Dearborn and share some quality time with your family.
