On Tuesday, September 22, the County Commissioners of Sarasota honored the Pioneer Days volunteers. Commissioners praised work of the many volunteers who pulled together to ensure that the beloved town tradition did not die. Commissioner Staub presented the group with a Certificate of Recognition.

This year's Pioneer Days Parade was organized by a large group of volunteers consisting of many individuals, companies and organizations.
