The Cardboard Boat Race is always a popular, creative and funfilled contest!

The Englewood Jaycees' Captain Rick's Cardboard Boad Race will be held at Indian Mound Park.

Proceeds to benefit Kid's Needs of Englewood.

Saturday, September 4th
Registration begins at 9:00 AM - Race begins at 10:00 AM

Kid's Entry's sponsored by Lasbury-Tracy Realty Inc. and Artists Acres.

Cardboard boats are fairly easy to build and the material costs are very low if you use a few tricks of the trade.  The primary focus is to have fun and hopefully end up building something out of cardboard that will float long enough to compete in a couple of heats, and still float to the finish line.  Good luck!
